After college in Ohio, I worked as a secretary, in Consumer Products for incredible companies such as the Muppets, Nickelodeon, MTV, Copyrights UK, Carnegie Hall and eventually creating my own company Lindberg Licensing and Promotion, Inc. in New York.

Representing creative artists, authors and institutions at every level, managing the business, I longed to become one myself.

A substitute Art Teacher job opened up in the Bronxville, NY High School while my children were students. With delight, I told the students - You CAN be an Artist! Go for it. I was a business person with a passion for painting, and a suburban mom with two amazing daughters, actualizing my dream of becoming a designer and encouraging others to do so too.

Another decade (or two) passed. I shifted gears, moved to CT and opened Lindberg Marketing & Media, LLC a smaller version of what I was doing in NY. Still, I longed to create and spend less time reading contracts and delivering $$ to other people.

I changed the company name to Lindberg Designs, exhaled took a leap of faith and at last focused on teaching art www.lindbergdesigns.com and making my own paintings in oil, watercolors and acrylics. I mix those creations into digital images that I love to use designing products to enhance home spaces for fabric, wall paper bedding and decorative pillows.

As a busy granny with a messy studio and a big smile you will find me working on Erica Lindberg Mitchell Art and Design! ART at the center of it all, at last! I hope you find and follow your creative dreams too.
